Can you believe that Christmas is finally here??? My oh my how fast this month went. How fast this year went. My kids are counting down the minutes, and the torture is killing them! Was I really like that as a kid? Not being able to wait just one more day to see if Santa came? Now that the role is reversed, I'm taking in all the pleasure of being able to make them wait. :) Well I have had an amazing time having these last couple of days off...I've been lost in my craft room and thought I'd make just a few more Christmas things before it's all over.
The first is a candy-cane gift box. I made this out of really heavy chipboard, papers from Melissa Frances, (just some old ones laying around), ribbon checked gingham from Offray, a felt snowflake from World Market, berry sprigs, cinnamon sticks from Williams Sonoma and those off-the-chart candy canes from Harry & David. I also used some silver and white pipe cleaners and the white one on the top acts as a carrier. :) Enjoy!
Candy Cane gift box...
and because I simply do not have enough ornaments on my tree, I made these two last night using a pattern from the multi-talented Sara Tolliver, her designs are amazing and by next year I want to make everything in her book, but for now, I did these two snowflake ornaments. :)
Well I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year...thanks so much for checking in with me all month. I have had so much fun creating all of these fun Christmas projects for you. Please check in soon, I won't be gone long.... :) Merry Christmas everyone!!
