I love Halloween, I love decorating for Halloween too, even though I don't get too many little trick-or-treaters here where I live, it's still fun to live in the moment. I stitched this cross-stitch a while back and let me just say that this....was a true labor of love. It took forever to finish, that's why it's one of my most treasured Halloween decorations and I just love to hang it on my wall every October. I used black Aida cloth, and whoever said cross-stitching on black cloth was easy....well, I won't get into that. LOL!! But I do hope you enjoy my little primitive witch as much as I enjoyed stitching it. :)
here are a few close-ups showing the details
Isn't she cool? Though I think my favorite part of her are her boots and socks!! LOVE those.
Thanks for stopping by everyone, have a great week! :)

I haven't done anything recently, but once I made a rooster with all those detailed feathers. Never give that away!

Cute! I started doing cross stitch before I did scrapbooking.

Wow, what a treasure! I worked one big project on black and swore I'd never do it again. A true labor of love. Beautiful work!
