Hi everyone! How about a really sweet idea for Christmas? Do you know that Sizzix makes it sooooo easy to create these adorable little goody bags? They have so many dies to help you create goody bags galore! I've used a few of them for my project below and the dies are so sweet, they almost don't need any embellishing. It's as easy as cutting out your shape and adhering it together. Below, the technique I'm going to show is how I created the little "window" in the goody bag. I hope you enjoy!
here are some close ups...
How adorable are these?? I just love em...and I love how they turned out.
Okay, I used the following dies from Sizzix to make my goody bags...
You will also need a Big Shot Pro machine for the Milk Carton Die, it will not fit in the regular Big Shot.
To make these, simply die cut the shape with your desired paper, score the lines, (and it helps if you use a crease pad). To create the circular "window" using the Framelit circle, position the Framelit where you want your "window to be, then roll it through your die cut machine.
Next, using a scrap piece of paper, (the same paper you'll want your scalloped ring to be), and cut out another circle with the same size Framelit you just used.
Then position the 'next size' larger scallop circle around the circle positioning where you want it to go, then carefully slide it through your die cut machine.
Voila!! Out will pop your scalloped ring, that you simply adhere over the circle.
Then finish by adhering a small piece of transparency paper to the inside of the window and that's it! Pretty awesome huh?
Now assemble using red-lined tape and embellish as you like, with snowflakes, ribbon, tinsel and buttons. These make sweet, sweet little gifts. I hope you enjoy! :)
Thankyou all so much for stopping by! I hope you all have a blessed Christmas!! ;)
