Hi everyone, thank you so much for stopping by today. I have a project to show you that was made for Sizzix, using Brenda Walton's new "3-D Shadowbox" die. I LOVE this die, (of course I say that about all of her dies), but this one really is so sweet. It has a million uses from gift-boxes, to ornaments, to shadowboxes and everything in between. For my project, I used it as a shadowbox, and I really, really love how this turned out.
The photo I used for this is of my kids Courtney & Connor and it was taken in New York back in 2008 when they first saw snow for the very first time. I love this pic and inside the shadowbox, I "suspended" the photo by placing 3, 3-D glue dots behind it so that it would "stand" in the center of the box. Then I added some vintage mica glitter in a small bottle, some metal vintage ice-skates, a small wooden snowflake and a small pine branch and in the bottom, I added just a bit of cotton.
Here are a few close-ups...
Would you like a quick tutorial on how I made this, along with a supply list?

I hope you all enjoyed my project as much as I enjoyed making it! Please check back soon for more inspiration! Have a great week everyone! :)
