Hey everyone, thanks so much for stopping by today. I have a fun project tutorial to share with you that is posted on the Authentique Paper blog today, using their new collection called, "Accomplished". I love and seriously adore this collection, not only because of the darling printed prints and embellishments, but because of all those wonderful krafts & blacks! Who would've thought kraft & black would be the "must have" collection for me, but it is so vintagey and fun, I seriously....LOVE it! :)
For my project today, I paired up "Accomplished" with some fun Brenda Walton dies from Sizzix, to create these little "Diploma" treat poppers. I cal these "Diploma's" because as I was rolling and assembling these, and tying on ribbons, I thought they looked like little diplomas. I think it's completely fitting. I hope you enjoy!
Are you planning on any graduation parties this month? I know I am...my little Connor is graduating 5th grade into middle school, and I couldn't be prouder of him, but perhaps maybe you have that Senior that graduated high school, or even the big college grad, whose ready to take on the world....how about surprising them and all your guests with these really sweet treat poppers?
The ends are tied with black & white polka dot ribbons.
The tops are adorned with paper medallions, vintage silver tinsel and mirrored stars.
Add a sticker tag to the end tied with twine....
...and no vintage project is ever complete without crepe paper fringe.
I hope I've inspired you all to try these for your next party, they are so simple to make and even more fun to give away! ;)
Have a great week everyone!
