Here is what I created with my 'Sewing Staples" kit:
Below are the individual projects I created, along with a few close ups for you to enjoy!
This first project, is the adorable needle book, which includes all the dies needed to create the sweetest keeper for all your sewing needs.
Once opened, you can add 'pages', to expand and 'pages' that include pockets and needle holders.
I absolutely adore this. It's my favorite project ever, seriously!
Another 'page' in my needle book includes a pocket to hold perhaps a needle threader, or other supplies.
This scissor keeper die creates a beautiful pocket to hold your favorite pair of scissors. Here is a close up of the design and embellishments.
How sweet are those little seed beads too...they create such a fun texture.
The wooden bobbin box, is such a sweet addition to this kit, and I cannot even tell you how adorable the bobbin keeper dies are. I added a felt handle with flowers to the top, and a small heart to the front.
Once opened, you can store your favorite floss colors on these coordinating felt bobbin holders. Have you ever seen such sweet accessories? Not to mention, the labels are created by using iron on transfers from the stamp collection and ribbon that is included, so totally sweet!
I am in love with these bobbin holders. I have a feeling a may be outfitting my entire floss collection with these coordinating felt beauties.
This sewing ensemble is so sweet, it would make the perfect gift for your sewing friend. So how about using the needle book dies for a small little gift card to include with your set?
Using the coordinating dies that accompany the needle book set, you can create fun scenes, for the front of your mini-card.
Or just embellish with big, bright, beautiful blooms on the front.
....and once opened, include a stamped sentiment along with a stamped flower for the inside of your cards. You really cannot get much more handmade than that.
I absolutely adore the "Sewing Staples" kit and cannot wait to see what comes next. I am so excited for you to receive your kit, you will absolutely love, love, love it!
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
I hope these projects have inspired you to create a "Sewing Staples" kit for yourself.
Have a great day everyone!
