Hey everyone, thanks so much for stopping by today. I have a couple of Sizzix projects to share with you today, the first being a very sweet little stitchery using the new "Fox" Bigz die by Lynda Kanase. I love making little pillows and this one has to be among my favorites. I hope you enjoy! ;)
This little pillow measures about 7x7 and was easily created in just a couple of hours. I love the appliqué Fox, so much and the die actually lets you configure him almost anyway you'd like to. I used felt and coordinating DMC floss to stitch him to some coffee-stained muslin, then added a black check fabric border. He really "pop's" against the dark fabric.
I stitched the fox using a blanket stitch and a straight stitch.
I used a solid black fabric for the backing of the pillow.
...and a dab of Fabri-Tac to adhere the felt eyes onto the face.

My second project for Sizzix uses the new "Shape Strips" Thinlits dies by Tim Holtz.
I hope you enjoy!
As you can see, I used all the little hearts that punched out from the die, instead of the strip themselves. Those hearts were so sweet, that my card turned into an entirely new direction, and I went with a shaker card. Who needs Valentines Day to send a sweet heart card like this?
The "XO" was die cut from glitter cardstock.
...and here's one more close up of the detail.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today, please stop by again soon.
Have a awesome day!
